mandolux is a great desktop maker, I’ve been visiting his site for a long time, he’s amassed quite a collection. A few of my favorites from him are ixo/dri, light/wheel, galaxy/planter and antiorchid. this guy also has a cool flickr account.

I’ve been using lots of his wallpapers for years now. Any one of days I’ll switch to a dual display setup and I’ll definitely be using some of his dual screen stuff.

In the movie Sleuth, Michael Caine’s character controls all the electronic gadgetry in his house (security cameras, lighting, automagic descending ladder, etc) with a vanilla Apple remote.

So that’s where Apple is headed. Whoever said Apple was all set to take over your living room was underexaggerating. Apple is set to take over the entire house!

Muxfind: Search Muxtapes and get suggestions for new music. It’s not only about finding songs on different tapes but also getting suggestions for new muxtapes.
Because there’s more to music than just the names of titles. I love discovering new music - so this should do something like LastFM just for Muxtape. The cool thing about Muxape is, that most tapes are very diverse: lots of tapes cover the the whole music taste of their creators. Starting at the Beatles and stopping with Electronic stuff: awesome! Suggesting Muxtape full of Beatles songs just because you listened to them once doesn’t make too much sense.
I’ve been working on this just for the past few days - and to be very clear: I’m in now way associated with the original Muxtape.com - I’m just experimenting with this kind of technology. So I would love to get your feedback on the suggestions.
A few days ago Muxtape.com crashed and lost few songs. It also has text encoding problems here and there.

Just this morning I was thinking it would be cool if we could search muxtapes for artists and songs.
